In 2020, I started looking for a way to offset the carbon footprint of my art practise.

As an earth scientist, climate researcher, and advocate, it is important to me to make sure I do my part.

Collage was the answer.

Using recycled paper materials to create works of art not only results in a wonderful aesthetic, it makes for a powerful message as well. Perhaps my favorite part of the process, for pieces with text, is choosing words to correlate with the imagery and underlaying symbolism I am trying to portray (one could find lots of hidden messages in my pieces if they looked with a keen eye!)
